At the Democratic National Convention, over three hundred Clinton delegates signed a nominating petition to ensure that Senator Clinton's name was placed in nomination for what should have been a free and fair nomination election held at the convention. While that election was short-circuited by Speaker Pelosi, Chairman Dean, and the Obama campaign, the bravery and commitment of the Clinton delegates in gathering the first 300 signatures (the minimum required for such a petition) deserves ongoing recognition.
Now, another 300 (plus) voters, including a large number of Clinton delegates, have signed a letter urging Senator Clinton's colleagues in the Senate to respect the will of the voters and put her in the position of Senate Majority Leader. See Hillary Rodham Clinton for Senate Majority Leader 2009.

(The letter also appears at The Democratic Party's "community website", "Party Builder", with information updated periodically so that over there the voice of Clinton Democrats is heard.)
