ROFL. Very funny, Heidi. That was a joke, wasn't it?
When Hillary's debt is paid off, I might consider such a thing. Wait. No I won't. Please let it be a joke.

"We'll get to work transforming this country. But first, we need to take care of the DNC."

Ahh, yes, first things first. Of course, how selfish of me to think otherwise. Why without the DNC what would we do? Where would we be? Who would fight for our freedom? Fight for gender equality, fight for same sex marriage laws? Where would we be without the DNC?

Forget all this country before party nonsense. It's the DNC to which we should be pledging our allegiance. Silly me, getting all teary eyed at my daughter's middle school Veteran's Day ceremony honoring the sacrifices that our local Vets from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, etc. made and some continue to make every single day of their lives, when all the while I was missimg the big picture. There was not one single solid member of the DNC there being honored for their service to this country, for the sacrifices they made for her citizens! Heck, forget bailing out the banks, the car manufacturers, the insurance companies. Forget money for much needed supplies to our troops in combat, our wounded vets, moneyt for our children's schools, our medical facilities, our infrastructure....We need to bailout our real heros, those true blue patriots, those guys and gals down at the DNC!!

Oh and hey, message to DNC base: BITE ME!!

Alessandro Machi

well, it's good to know that YOU, David Plouffe, gets to review the books, since apparently nobody else is going to, or at least that is the trial balloon being floated out there.

So, they spent like a drunken sailor on shore leave after a year at sea, and they don't have enough to cover until next payday... Wasn't this the $600 million candidate with the deep pockets from nowhere?

I agree with the other comment - Let's see about HRC's debt first, then forget about the DNC's finances.

Oh... I just HOPE they send me a snail mail like that.

I'd love to fill it up with some very heavy CHANGE.

Wait, the 'crucial' 50-state strategy that soon-to-be Chief of Staff Rahm can't wait to get rid of? That 50-state strategy? lol, my sides hurt from laughing.

I have a better idea. Let's help out the Oglala Lakota of Pine Ridge, South Dakota. They are in desperate need as winter has hit early, and they are living in third world poverty all year, and have been for 100 years. The infant mortality rate is 400% higher than the rest of the United States.

I have some contact info at my blog.

More to follow tomorrow evening at The Confluence.

As far as the DNC being in debt couldn't have happened to a nastier bunch of criminals.

Maybe Obama should auction off an autographed DVD of his famous 30 minute infomercial on EBAY. With the economy in a meltdown, the republicans in disarray, and 2 wars, Obama still felt compelled to outspend John McCain 8:1. George Bush and the financial meltdown actually made the 50 state strategy work.
